Police here arrested one terrorist affiliated with terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) on Sunday.
Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the apprehended terrorist on Sunday.
"Police in Baramulla arrested one active terrorist affiliated with proscribed terror outfit JeM. Arms and ammunition recovered. Case registered. Investigation in progress," a tweet by the Kashmir Zone Police read.
The arrested militant has been identified as a local, Mohsin Saleh who had joined Jaish-e-Mohammed recently has been arrested in Baramulla. Md Suleman Choudhary, DIG Baramulla says,"He was caught in a joint op by Baramulla police&CRPF. From the items recovered from him, we deduce that he was planning a cop killing".
